We are going to play a game today! Don’t you just love games? I sure do. And I especially love it when I win something!
This new set will be 50% for 48 hours in my TPT store starting next week OR… you can play Pin to Win!
At my last school, I observed that students did not know their math facts. And it was really affecting their ability to solve problems in math. I saw a need, so I decided to do something about it. I thought long and hard about what was needed and then designed it to be fun and motivating at the same time. Our students really enjoyed it. This program is designed to encourage fact fluency and automaticity.
I created a school-wide program just like this at my last school and have decided to up the ante to create Army Math. I have created a program for each grade level, 1st through 5th. I am currently working on Kindergarten.
Each grade level has 5 fact fluency goals. When a student reaches a goal, they pass that “rank” and receive a certificate. The ranks are: Private, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and General.
Included in each grade level set:
~Letter to parents
~Letter on how to use the flashcards
~5 fact fluency goals
~Facts test for each goal
~Classroom charts for each rank
~Triangle flashcards
With 1st and 2nd grades, you will receive Addition & Subtraction triangle flashcards.
With 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, you will receive Addition & Subtraction AND Multiplication & Division triangle flashcards.
Winner will be announced next Saturday. Just pin any of the above images or from My TPT Store, then copy the URL address, and paste it in the comments. You can choose which grade level set you want, 1st through 5th grade.
Can’t wait to see who wins! Good luck!

You are a fascinating person! I just found your blog through Sweet Rhyme and Pure Reason. Wow! I'm glad to have found you! I have a friend I went to school with who is also teaching abroad in Korea. I have to find out what city. Before that, she taught in Barcelona. Crazy. I've only taught in San Diego, but I love to travel as well! I'm not sure I've been to 40 countries. I would have to count. Incidentally, I pinned all of these images…..some more than once because I wasn't doing it right. I'll put the links. I didn't see a winner so maybe I won?!??!?! 🙂 http://www.pinterest.com/pin/306737424592808023/ http://www.pinterest.com/pin/306737424592808020/ http://www.pinterest.com/pin/306737424592808017/ http://www.pinterest.com/pin/306737424592808008/
