November Currently

November 1, 2015

I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe it’s November. Say what?

So…I’ve been a little MIA lately. I’ve been a little busy.

I’ve got some big news to share….

I’m moving! About a month ago, I decided that I need a change (I’m one of those weird people who LOVE change). I have thought about moving for a while now…especially after I moved home from Korea. Living in Korea changed me in more ways than one. Best experience of my life. But when I moved home, home didn’t feel the same.

So I immediately started packing and looking at houses. It didn’t take long. And it didn’t take long for my house to sell. God definitely has his hand in this! Closing dates and moving dates are just around the corner!

I’m so excited! It’s only about 25 minutes away, but it’s in a whole other town. New city. New neighborhood. New people to meet. New places to eat. New experiences. Woohoo!

I’m linking up with Farley at Oh Boy Third Grade for her monthly Currently. It’s been a while since I’ve participated, and I’m excited to get going again.

So, yes I’m watching CSI Miami right now (love anything CSI) and working on some TPT goodies. I’m also taking little Pinterest breaks to look at decorating ideas, which I need to stop because I have a long list of things I want to do now…including some ideas of refurbishing and painting furniture, which I’ve never done before. Bring it on!

So have you ever tried pumpkin pie dump cake? If not, you do not know what you’re missing. It is so so good. Now I want some. Darn.

What are you guys up to? Btw….if you make the dump cake, feel free to send me a piece!

Happy November!

I've never heard of pumpkin pie dump cake but it sounds yummy! I'm all about pretty much any cake! 🙂

Kind of jealous that you can just up and move! I felt very, very restless for about 18 months and would have moved in a heartbeat….but with 3 kiddos and a hubby who all feel very settled and attached, it wasn't about to happen.

How exciting?! You must be very adventurous trying new things! I hope your move goes smoothly. I know right, it's so hard to quit looking under the Home Decor on Pinterest! 🙂

Congrats on your new house! I hate moving and change, so we seem to be pretty much opposites in that respect. I also am NOT a decorator! We've lived in our home for 8 years, and the wall probably wouldn't have been painted if it weren't for my husband. Sad, I know! Pumpkin dump cake sounds GOOD.

Thanks Jan! I'd come and help you decorate anytime! Now when it comes to yard work or gardening, count me out…unless you want your things to die. Here's the recipe for the dump cake. Let me know what you think! http://thefirstyearblog.com/pumpkin-dump-cake/

Congrats on your move! We are in the process of selling our house, too. We have a contract, but we are still waiting on the actual closing date. I hope you love your new home and town!

    P.S. I love Pinterest, too!
