Are you looking for a fun and motivating classroom economy system? Emoji Bucks are a fun classroom economy and classroom management/behavior system, and they also reinforce place value. Your students will love to save up their bucks for rewards!
Emoji Bucks are a fun way to reward your students for classroom behavior, doing homework, participation, or just about any reason to reward students.
Emoji Bucks are also similar to my Star Bucks.
EMOJI Bucks come in denominations of the following, with each denomination having a different picture:
• $1 bucks
• $5 bucks
• $10 bucks
• $20 bucks
• $50 bucks
• $100 bucks
• $500 bucks
• $1,000 bucks
• $5,000 bucks
• $10,000 bucks

Emoji Bucks reinforce place value in that students exchange their bucks at the classroom “bank” for the next bill. For example, they could exchange five $10 bucks for one $50 buck. I insist that my students know the correct exchange before they come to the bank.
Emoji Bucks also encourage responsibility and the value of saving money. Every week or so, students can turn in their Emoji Bucks for prizes. Many students choose to save their Bucks for the bigger prizes. I have included a list of prize ideas that I used in my classroom.
